| Maternity jeans: Instead of buying maternity clothes, I just buy the things I love but in larger sizes. I live in my black J.Crew leggings, which go with everything, and are super comfortable and versatile. Pregnancy book: The Mayo Clinic Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy is comprehensive and very easy to read, and it takes you through all 9 months of your pregnancy and beyond. Best snack or drink for morning sickness: I really loved eating Cascadian Farm Organic Cinnamon Crunch cereal in my first trimester. Most comfy pregnancy shoes: Comfort is key during pregnancy, but you also want to look chic and put together. When I’m walking around shopping or running errands I love wearing my Stuart Weitzman 5050 suede boots. They have elastic material on the back half of the calf, so they're super comfortable and they will stretch if your feet or legs get swollen. Maternity fancy dress: My Alexander McQueen dress that I wore to my baby shower—I love it so much, I bought it in grey and in black. McQueen makes dresses that are perfect for pregnant women because of the 4 way stretch! The knit sheath dresses hug your bump perfectly, and the designs and patterns on the dress really accentuate your bump and make it the centerpiece of your outfit! Maternity everyday dress: My Gypsy 05 dresses are perfect to wear in the summer while pregnant. They are long and flowing and can accommodate your larger bust size and bump as you progress during your pregnancy. Being comfortable is key and these dresses are easy to wear, lightweight and can be dressed up or down depending on where you are going. Maternity sleepwear: I have been using my VPL dresses as sleepwear during my pregnancy. They feel like lightweight nightgowns. Diaper bag: My black Chanel Rock and Chain patent leather bag. It's big and lightweight and goes with everything! Crib: I bought the white Fillmore crib by Pottery Barn. I love the classic, clean lines. I can vary the look by changing the crib sheets and bumper. Favorite belly cream: Noodle & Boo Elasticity Oil and Perfecting Crème. Items for the hospital: My hospital bag has all the essentials needed for an overnight stay: toothbrush, toothpaste, face wash, lip balm, etc. Along with a change of clothes for me and the baby, I’m also planning on bringing my camera and phone to take a lot of pictures and make calls from the hospital. Music for the baby: While I’ve been pregnant I’ve been listening to a lot of the Killers, Bob Dylan, and Interpol. I usually listen to a lot of Top 40 music so this is new for me and my baby, and she seems to be liking it! Maternity store: Giggle and Jacadi. Jacadi has the cutest baby clothes! I do love to shop online at Bel Bambini and Bonpoint too. Buying baby clothes is highly addictive because everything is so cute! Food cravings: Fortunately I have mostly been craving healthy things like greek yogurt with bananas and honey. However, I do have days when all I want to eat is sour cream and onion potato chips, caramel ice-cream, and cupcakes (all at the same time). Maternity swimwear: I’ve found Vitmain A and J. Crew bikinis to be the most comfortable. When you're pregnant there is no point in hiding your belly bump! Women should embrace it and be proud of it. These bikinis are great because they have strings on the sides of the bottoms, so as you grow, your bikini bottoms can grow with you, just loosen the strings, and you're good to go. Body pillow: My husband bought me the “snoogle” pillow because he thought it would help me sleep better. I found it to be too unruly in bed and ended up always throwing it on the floor in the middle of the night. I found I’m better off using 4 pillows and positioning them wherever I need the support. Babymoon: My husband and I took our babymoon where we got married—the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California. It's extremely private and the grounds are stunning. It was so nice to fall off the grid for awhile and just enjoy each other. Registry Gift: My sister disregarded the registry and really spoiled my baby-to-be with Hermès blankets, quilts, mittens, hats and booties. It's too bad my baby won’t be able to appreciate these wonderful gifts, but her Mommy will! Baby present: My husband has been so wonderful and supportive throughout my entire pregnancy, and that has been gift enough for me. But, if I had to choose one thing, it would definitely be a spa package! Nursery colors: Initially, I was going to do an all white nursery, but I have received so many cute gifts that the nursery is now white furniture with pops of color. I’m glad it turned out this way because they say colors are a great learning resource for babies!
