I love a woman wearing a man’s watch. Non-diaper bag: My orange Hermès Birkin—it’s a classic! Beauty product: Yes To Carrots anti-frizz serum. I can honestly say my hair has never behaved better! Who cuts your hair ? Ted Gibson! Where do you go to get the kid’s haircut? I do it myself at home—I’m pretty handy with scissors. Kid’s shoes: Native—it’s the only pair he will keep on. Favorite kid’s clothing brand: The Good Ones is a newer line that’s just for the little guys. Sneakers: Acrobat, wedge trainers from Topshop. Novel: To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. Children’s book: Anything by Sandra Boynton. Music to listen to with the kids: We expose Kai to all genres for a well-rounded experience. Brunch spot: EJ’s Luncheonette—it’s loud! Vacation spot: The Hamptons Family-friendly restaurant: Mario Batali’s Eataly App for the kids: Talking Carl makes us all giggle. Food to make with the kids: Pasta—it’s fun to use different shapes and mix-ins. Place to get kid’s birthday party cake: Carlo’s Bakery Favorite candle: Voluspa’s Saijō Persimmon is my current favorite. Favorite stationery? I keep a supply from DL & Co. Stroller: Rachael Ray gave me the Bugaboo Cameleon. Organizational tool: I cannot survive without my iPhone/iPad combo. Healthy snack to share with the kids: Edamame beans. Best Mother’s Day gift?
