MAC releases cards with a cause
When it comes to holiday cards, most moms like the cover to be a picture of their children. The impulse, part braggy and part informative (since they grow up so fast!), is understandable, and we love admiring the grins year after year. Here’s an idea, though. Why not put a free-standing photo inside one of these cards from MAC? As part of the Kids Helping Kids initiative, they were drawn by children affected by HIV, and all proceeds will go to the MAC Aids Fund. In addition to greeting cards, the penguins, butterflies, and snowmen also grace gift cards, if you’d prefer to give them to your own children, explaining the importance of helping others in the process—an easy way to embrace multiple aspects of the season of giving. A set of either greeting or gift cards costs $10.00, and can be purchased at MAC counters nationwide. Happy gifting!
