Celebrity Makeup Ideas: Michelle Williams’ Favorite Product

Smoky eyes have never been easier with these tips and tricks from the star’s makeup artist.

Whether she’s running errands with daughter Matilda or greeting the press at a movie premiere, Brooklyn mom Michelle Williams always manages to look amazing. I recently discovered one of her beauty secret weapons—Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Color pencils.

The smoky-eye look Williams flaunted at the premiere of Oz The Great and Powerful was courtesy of a combination of chic Caviar Stick shades. Williams’ makeup artist, Sabrina Bedrani, applied Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Color in cocoa all over the lid and along the bottom lash line. Then, she used a brush to swipe Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Color in khaki onto the top and bottom of the outer corner of her eyes to add depth. For the final touch, she applied Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Color in rose gold onto the inner corners.

The Caviar Sticks, which are not quite eyeliner and not quite eye shadow, are so ridiculously foolproof that I can add them to my morning beauty routine without having to worry about being late to drop-off. Rose gold in the corners of my eyes does wonders in making me look bright-eyed and glistening. Although I may not be heading down a red carpet anytime soon, these pencils are so easy to use and look so pretty on that I’m adopting them into my everyday beauty routine. —Melissa Schweiger
