My “work outfit” as a makeup artist is usually a mix of comfortable but hip. High-top wedge sneakers from Target and a loose sundress from Fab’rik make the perfect combo. The large gold hoops are by Kenneth Cole, and both makeup cases are from Sephora. One of my favorite lip plumping glosses is this Too Faced Glamour Gloss in Barely Legal.
A day of shopping at one of my favorite local Atlanta boutiques, Fab’rik, requires easy shirt-and-short combo (since time is usually limited when the kids are around!). Wearing a denim top by Levi’s, laced scalloped shorts by Free People, and a Michael Kors watch. Finished it off with L’Oreal Infallible 6-hour lip gloss in Fiery.
Mom Style Diary: Jennifer Duvall
Jennifer Duvall describes herself as a “mommy with a makeup problem,” but we think that’s a pretty great problem to have. When it comes to clothes, the freelance makeup artist, beauty blogger, and mother of three likes to adhere to the high-low philosophy. When running around Athens, Georgia, “my everyday looks are always a combination of having one classic piece paired with more trendy and less expensive items,” says Duvall. “Nothing I wear can be too sacred or high fashion, because my 2.5 year old is bound to spill something on me! If I want to wear something expensive, it’s usually a YSL Rouge Volupte lip color.”
Here, we get to see how Jennifer finishes off her hip looks with some expert beauty tricks. Click through the slideshow to see a week’s worth of her looks.
