What are you your kids wearing?

J Brand jeans, Cydwoq boots, and an Ibex shirt.

How would you describe your style?

I think of it as Vermont cowgirl: jeans, a pair of boots, and a comfortable shirt that fits well. The overall look is practical, sexy, and lived-in.

How has being a mom changed your style?

Having a daughter has inspired me to be more creative and fun. And I love the boys' cool skater style. I often buy pants in the skate shop where they get their clothes.

Are there any moms whose style you really admire? Why?

The most obvious is Angelina Jolie. I love how she always looks engaged with her kids. That to me is beautiful mommy style—being present for your children.

What is your most treasured accessory or article of clothing?

My cowboy boots. I found them in a vintage shop in SoHo and it was a total Cinderella moment. They called to me from across the room and when I put them on, it was as if they were made for me.

How would you describe your kids’ style?

The boys have a pretty classic skateboarder/skier thing going on, and Coco has an incredibly unique, amazing, imaginative style that she reinvents on a daily basis. I actually keep a blog about her called Channeling Coco Chanel.

What is your favorite piece in her wardrobe?

I love all of Coco's tutus. I also love her vintage scarf collection, given to her by her grandmother.

What items are currently on your wardrobe wish list?

Ralph Lauren's Daryn gown—the one with the incredible dragon on the back—and a pretty Alice Temperley dress for spring. There is also an absolutely gorgeous Eres swimsuit I've got my eye on.
