VP of Public Relations at KCD and mother of two, Renee Barletta says that motherhood has made it impossible for her to "teeter around in sky high heels all day" and has brought her to embrace flats and a more comfortable and practical style. What is your favorite season to dress in and why?
I love fall dressing. I tend to go for a more tailored look this time of year; navy blazers, cashmere sweaters, layering, the rich colors and textures—I love it all!
What pieces do you think are worth investing in?
Timeless pieces like a tailored tuxedo jacket, which is very versatile and great with jeans or dressed up at night, a great fitting dress that takes you from morning drop-off to the office and then to drinks/dinner. A classic trench coat, I’ve had mine for years and it never looks out of place. A good tailored pant that can be worn with heels or flats. A classic leather carryall bag in a neutral color.
