Jyoti Rathi has always had a penchant for fashion. Motherhood, however, increased her interest in the practical kind. “I have learned how to look chic with minimum effort, and to dress up jeans and a t-shirt when I’m in a hurry—which is always!” Mother to five-year-old Mili, Jyoti writes about the intersection of style and functionality on her blog, Style Delights. One word: Girly! She loves everything pink and purple, frills, skirts, dresses, tutus... the list goes on!

Are there any moms whose style you really admire?

My mother—she is always graceful! And Jennifer Garner, because she can be so cool and chic in jeans and flats one moment, and then kick it up with high heels and a Little Black Dress the next.
