“If it has a ruffle, I own it,” says Princeton, New Jersey mom Molly Hillenbrand Vernon. The mother of two loves ultra-feminine styles with a preppy twist and is the owner of Luxaby Baby & Child—a one-stop shop for high-end infant, children’s, and maternity wear. Molly says her style changes as the day progresses and so does her height—she trades her heels (like the Yves Saint Laurent pumps pictured here) for flats when she leaves the boutique to pick up her daughters from school. “I always keep a pair in my car.” 

Are there any moms whose style you really admire? 

I love Rosie Pope's style, both maternity and non-maternity. I also admire Reese Witherspoon. Between the ruffles and the monograms, she is my girl! 

Describe your children’s (Carolyn, 6 and Sophie, 4) style.

Carolyn has a classic style that’s similar to mine, with bows and ruffles and lots of navy. My youngest, Sophie, is more of a tomboy.
