KRYSTEL ARBIA

OCCUPATION: Lawyer and founder of Milan Pole Dance Studio

MY STYLE: During the day I go for a quick ponytail, a bit of eyeliner and blush, jeans, boots, and accessories. At night, I love to dress up and wear the highest heels I have to go out!

I LOVE MILAN BECAUSE: Milan is a creative city, the capital of fashion and design, which I think is a really great and stimulating environment for kids to grow in.

Langosteria 10

Langosteria 10 is "trendy but with no prevention." The casual but upscale spot is known for its incredible seafood, tartare, and carpaccio. The restaurant services business meetings and hangouts with friends equally well. The quality of the food, the charming atmosphere, and the great wine selection make Langosteria 10 a favorite bistrot far and wide.

The 116-acre expanse includes a playground, a library, formal gardens, and an unbeatable view of the Arco alla Pace. The paths—which wind around ponds and under bridges—are perfect for a weekend bike ride or leisurely walk.

From the 4,000 square meter garden to the splendid décor, which includes black Zimbabwe marble and stone from Vincenza, to the concierge’s special day trips—hydroplaning to Lake Como, anyone?—the establishment is certainly deserving of the Bulgari name.

La Gelateria della Musica

The only trouble with gelato in Milan is deciding which place to get it first. Gelateria della Musica distinguishes itself with more than its clever menu, in which each flavor makes a reference to a different musician. The goal, according its website, is to create an ice cream experience that is "as similar as possible to a live concert." Fresh fruit flavors, a spread of chocolate varieties, a stellar reputation (and the line out the door to prove it) are the hallmarks of the veritable symphony of flavors this gelato provides. Milan-based photographer, Noemi Campironi who usually likes to homemake her ice-cream makes an exception for Gelateria della Musica, calling it a "historical place," and her enthusiastic recommendation of the pistachio is seconded by many Milanese aficionados: Bravo!
