Liven Up Your Living Space With Pantone’s Color of The Year
The color of the season has been more or less decided for you. If you were looking at creams, taupe or peacock blue for your annual spring sprucing, you may want to note that the color to covet this time around is "radiant orchid."
Pantone, the go-to authority on every shade known to man, named "radiant orchid" the esteemed Pantone Color of the Year, based on relevance and cultural buzz. The rich hue, which is a blend of fuchsia, purple and pink undertones, is attention-grabbing, to say the least. But can we really see it in our home? Oh, yes.
We would suggest treading lightly, as such a bold color would best be used as an accent. A small lamp, throw pillow, or figurine among a sea of neutrals adds spice without detracting from the overall harmony of the space. Color us happy.
