How to Build a Chic Raised Garden Bed With Your Kids At Your Side

Fall is a great time to do a little gardening as you can prepare your garden for the following spring. An easy update is to build some raised garden beds which are perfect for growing vegetables, flowers or even an herb garden. Placing a few garden beds together and varying their sizes can give you a clean, modern look in your outdoor space. In addition, children really enjoy gardening, learning about plants and watching them grow. The beds are great for children as they can walk around the plants without trampling them and can even kneel beside the garden box.

Are you ready to make some raised garden beds? This post will show you how to build a modern dove-tailed raised garden bed out of cedar. Cedar is an excellent material to use outdoors as it weathers well and does not necessarily need any sealer or treatment.

Have fun with your fall gardening and click through our slideshow above for step-by-step instructions on how to build a raised bed in your garden.
