A Hassle-Free, Healthy Chicken Recipe From Health Guru Heidi Powell
Easy, healthy dinner. Those words repeat in our minds, like a mantra, on every trip to the supermarket. Or at least they should. “If you’re like me, the last thing you want to do in the summer is spend a lot of time in the kitchen,” says fitness expert Heidi Powell. We think a lot of us are like you, Heidi. When the sun is shining and the days are long, there’s so much incentive to stay outdoors as long as possible. And of course, we’re more inclined to eat light and maintain our bikini body for as long as possible.
Here’s a chicken recipe that is “totally kid approved,” according to Heidi.
Garlic Parmesan Chicken
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
1 cup plain non-fat Greek yogurt
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 ½ tsp. seasoned salt
½ tsp. pepper
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray and arrange the chicken breasts in the dish.
3. Mix the rest of the ingredients together and spread over the chicken breasts.
4. Bake for 45 minutes.
