8 Dishwashing Dos and Don'ts You'll Want to Memorize Before Dinner
We won't even try to deny how much better our lives are with the invention of the dishwashing machine. Think of how much time we save every single day. Loading and unloading a dishwasher is easy-peasy compared to standing over a sink and handwashing every plate, fork and glass known to man. Then there's the drying. So tedious! So boring! Plus, no two hands armed with a sponge can compete with the magic of detergent and a heavy duty rinse cycle.
Chances are, however, that you're committing one or more dishwasher faux pas. We're also willing to bet that you and your partner have had one or more disagreements on the proper way of loading the darn thing.
In order to get you back on track, prevent unnecessary breakage, and have your flatware and dinner plates emerge spotless each and every time, follow the eight guidelines outlined in the slideshow above. We promise the post-dinner clean-up will be relatively seamless from here on out.
