10 Room Dividers For Both Large and Small Spaces
Remember the days of living in a tiny studio apartment—where the kitchen served as a makeshift living room-slash-dining room? That kind of flexible floor plan required a great deal of ingenuity and necessary home décor items that actually made your living space, well, livable. Big couches were definitely a no, unless they turned into a bed come nighttime. And having an actual dining table was like riding a unicorn—not happening.
The only large item that was tolerated was the room divider. Asian screens blocked the views of parking lots and brick walls, as well as sectioning your apartment into quarters or halves.
The days of cramped living may be behind you, but these partitions are still useful. They are great for portioning off a kids' corner, creating a guest room out of your living room, or hey, just for hiding the mess when impromptu guests show up at your door.
