The Best Books to Crack Open This Weekend Are...
Even as a busy mother, we think it’s important to prioritize reading for pleasure because it’s a chance to learn about new cultures, increase your vocabulary, and set a good example for your children. You might think it’s impossible to fit reading into an already full schedule, but you’d be surprised at how easily you can find small moments to slide it into your day.
Listen to audiobooks on your commute to work or while you’re cleaning up after a particularly messy activity with your kids. Better yet, turn off your phone for 20 minutes and schedule a lunch date with a NYT Bestseller instead of with your RSS Feed. We also recommend winding down with a book and a steaming cup of tea for an hour or two at night as a relaxing pre-sleep activity that will ease you into a good night’s rest. Check out the slideshow above for the best books to get lost in this weekend.
