The Best Arm Exercises to Get Michelle Obama's Sculpted Beauties In 10 Minutes A Day
When my sons were young I lugged them everywhere and the result was very toned arms. I even framed a shot of the beauties reaching out to pick up my baby--no face, just arms! As my son moved more, my arms moved less and slowly lost their tone. I hadn’t focused on getting my mom arms back until I saw Michelle Obama at her husband’s first State of the Union address. Her arms were stunning against that January backdrop of the House Gallery. While other women were wrapped in blazers and long sleeved blouses, her arms were stunning (almost enough to distract from the main event).
The thing about great arms is they convey discipline and strength in a covert, sexy way. Good arms give you confidence and make you fearless about going sleeveless. Fortunately, they are not so hard to get either--you just have to do the work, and do it correctly.
Armed with the vision of FLOTUS' arms, we asked Danielle Radosti, a private trainer at Sports Club L.A. on Manhattan’s upper east side, which exercises to do at home for toned, strong arms.
Danielle suggested three simple exercises that can be done two or three times a week, using three- or five-pound weights. Our suggestion is to keep the weights in your bathroom. Before you turn on the shower in the morning, take ten minutes to bang out these exercises. After a month, people will be wondering if you own anything that isn't sleeveless.
Check out the slideshow above for the best arm exercises and get ready to sweat...but only for ten minutes, I promise.
