Mom's Night Out: Bebe Day by Day Book Party
We celebrate Pamela Druckerman's new book
Last night, Penguin Press and Go Mighty, an online vision board, hosted an event at Pasanella and Sons to celebrate Pamela Druckerman’s new book, Bébé Day by Day: 100 Keys to French Parenting. It was an evening filled with Champagne, croque monsieurs and chocolate everything. Bébé Day by Day is Druckerman’s follow-up to her wildly successful first book, Bringing Up Bébé, where the American in Paris took a narrative and investigative look at French parenting while raising her kids in the City of Light. The former Wall Street Journal reporter’s observations of calm French parents raising gourmet eaters and good sleepers led her to write a book about it. Backed by research and interviews, Druckerman encourages American parents to emulate their French counterparts. But how exactly? With answers in a condensed, easy-to-read guide in Bébé Day by Day. One hundred aspects of parenting are included in the book—from teaching your children patience, getting your children to like broccoli, to sleep training, and yes, even recipes.
